Made to see the light

Many people have little need of what the more “average” person might call help. It seems that these people have everything that they could possibly want or need. In many respects, however, these people may be in need of help the most. Maybe they are providing financial support for those that are at the margins, but feel lost or alone. They are part of God’s help, and in need of it, yet you have failed to see it. Showing them the light, that God is waiting for them and will help, is just another way of showing them that there is help to use and that that they are not alone.

The good in everyone

Christianity teaches us that everyone is thy brother and that we should forgive. Many times, it may be lost that the Lord forgives in a world of death and violence. If we cannot forgive then we are the flawed creatures that we were made to be. But God forgives us. Christianity holds this for all to see and emulate. Even in times of trouble God’s help is there for us to see and emulate. Warring parties stop to comfort a dying enemy; a racist person stands for a different race because it is the Christian thing to do. You may not feel it in yourself, but it is there. God is within all of us to help their brother.

All creatures great and small

Vanity is one of those things that people following Christianity are taught to avoid. But every person on the earth is perpetually guilty of it. We place ourselves at the top of the food chain even though a tiger would make short work of us; and we cast ourselves in social norms and moors that make us superior to one another. But, perhaps the greatest helpers from God are the animals that we domesticate and pass off as inferior when they are actually the best helpers. When a life saving situation arises we ask animals to give us help, when a field needs to be plowed we ask animals to help and when we feel low we ask animals to help. God provides help, and often it comes from the most obvious places; animals, the cool shade of a tree, the cool water of a stream or the driving rain of a monsoon. These are all Gods’ creations and his help for our physical and moral well being.

God’s helpers/yourself

To “thine own self be true” it is often said. Helping yourself to find your God is the best help that he has given you. His help is always there, but for you to ask and find it. Christianity puts you on the right path but it is up to you to walk through your own door.

The wonder that is Gods’ creation

A Christianity message holds many interpretations of the Holy Scripture. It comes in many ways and writings. There is a constant, however, in that God is found in all peoples and in all life. From the littlest salamander to the largest tree, all life includes Gods will. To preserve and worship all creation is the Lords intent. The temptation to destroy and take in vein Gods will is ever present. This is why God’s help is part of what he has and is giving us. As is his will, so is his help. It comes in many forms and is there for his children to oblige.

Fought with despair

As the saying goes “nobody is perfect”, and God created this. Getting down on oneself is simply a coping mechanism that is the wonder of life. A person could not be happy without sad hiding just around the corner. When people get themselves down, there is help built into the happy and sad equation to bring that person back toward happy, or at least not sad. A family loss will most often find the support of family and friends. A disappointment will often find a positive consequence. God’s help is always acting upon us. It is just that we don’t recognize his wonder in helping us.

A desire to help

In most people, the desire to help is present whether they know it or not. Even the most hardened people are likely to help when a situation becomes so desperate that there is little hope. Christian faith rises to the top in all whether they know it or not. It is in the darkest moments that God’s help shows its wonder.

The wonders of disaster

Consider some of the natural disasters that history has brought us. One might ask why a just god would bring down such misery upon us. Look to the aftermath that these disasters bring. People helping people to overcome a challenge that has been wrote. One might also say this is extreme and a sign of God’s wrath. Others will see it for what it is, a challenge of God’s wonder and the help that he has instilled upon each of his creations.

Christianity spreads the wonder

It is no wonder that the Christianity message is found around the wonder of God. Man is a social animal and feels the comfort and safety of a group. Most will say they feel inspired by group worship to a God that spreads his wonder. God created life in his image and has given people the desire to experience his creation. Every once in a while we all need help to see his light. That is the wonder of creation, God’s help.

Christianity, as a whole, enables you to travel your own path as you find God within. This journey can take many paths and is a personal one that may lead you in some interesting directions. Whatever paths you happen to take, know that God is there to aid you in your personal quest. Along the way you may experience setbacks and challenges that test your personal faith. God forgives you as you face these challenges right, wrong or indifferent. Since you are on a personal quest there is no real finish to the quest except your final journey. With this in mind, finding God within is a series of decisions to test you without fear of judgment by anyone but God.

A flexible God

Christianity in of itself is a flexible religion, letting different interpretations of what is a central belief system flourish within each of us. People may be created

equal but they are not created the same, except in Gods image. To think that every person must search for their relationship with God in the same way would diminish the true meaning of Gods’ love and understanding that he has for his children. This should enable you to seek the path that suites your personal relationship with God within in whichever way you feel works for you. If this relationship is best discovered working with children then this is part of your relationship with God within. If your relationship with God within revolves around being a beer drinking Harley rider with a bible in your saddle bag this is fine too. How you find your personal relationship within is a flexible process as long as you are journeying toward a desired goal of developing the relationship.

Asking for help

Approaching your journey toward finding God within will present many challenges as you make your way along its path. Christianity has provided for help as you face these challenges. Nobody ever said developing your relationship with God was going to be an easy task. Christianity and its followers are there to give their perspective about how they may have dealt with similar challenges along their own personal journey. Taking advantage of help is part of your journey and possibly a challenge that you might need to face.

Being honest with yourself

You may have heard the phrase “you’re only fooling yourself” a few times in your life. A search for God within is the true test of this phrase. God may judge and is forgiving, but it is you that must ultimately come to terms with how you feel about your relationship with God. You may travel far and wide to find your personal relationship with God but it is you that has to live with the reality of your relationship.
